First, the process improvement effect is obvious

(1) Reconstruction of crushing process equipment

From 1991 to 1994, Baihualing Concentrator successively passed a series of technical transformations, which reduced the particle size of the final crushed mineral products from -20mm to 90% to -15mm, and the grinding index was greatly improved. Since 2003, the acreage plant has systematically carried out research on reducing the size of crushed ore from the aspects of perfecting the process and updating the equipment. In March 2005, a H6800 cone crusher was introduced to replace the φ200 short-head cone crusher. The content of -15mm in finely mined ore products increased by 30%. At present, the pre-screening operation before the crushing is being carried out to reduce the pressure of the medium crushing, and at the same time, the reforming scheme of the crusher in the medium is investigated. After the implementation of the overall plan, the final crushed product size of the plant will reach -15mm, accounting for more than 90%.

(II) Renovation of selected process equipment

With the increase of processing capacity and the improvement of ore grade, the molybdenum selection system of Baihualing Concentrator has been unable to meet the production needs. In 1998, through the process investigation, process design, flotation volume calculation and equipment configuration research, the BF self-priming flotation machine developed by Beijing Research Institute of Mining and Metallurgy was used to replace the A-type flotation machine, and it was put into industrial implementation in July of the same year. . After the transformation, the grade of molybdenum concentrate and the selected recovery rate increased by 1.86 and 2.26 percentage points respectively before the transformation, and the economic benefits were remarkable.

(III) Transformation of rough selection process equipment

In 2003, the company carried out research on roughing process equipment modification for the problems of aging, rough capacity and poor recovery of roughing equipment in the acreage plant. Through equipment research and process inspection, combined with the actual situation, XCF/KYF-16 flotation machine combined unit was selected, and the horizontal configuration scheme was adopted boldly, which reduced the intermediate part of production. In October of the same year, the load test was successful. Practice has proved that the design of the transformation process is reasonable, and the selected XCF/KYF-16 flotation unit has superior performance, stable and reliable operation, improved crude recovery rate and concentrate grade, and significant economic benefits.

(4) Deep flotation fills the domestic gap

In 1999, the company carried out a comprehensive transformation of the selected process of the arable land concentrator, using the BF flotation machine, and boldly adjusted its main structural parameters. The scientific and reasonable improvement of the original process, independent innovation, the direct flotation process directly after the selection, opened a precedent for domestic molybdenum flotation. After implementation, the selected molybdenum concentrate grade reached 53.65%, and the theoretical recovery rate increased by 1.94 percentage points. (5) Energy-saving technical transformation of tailings transportation

The tailings conveying of Baihualing Concentrator is pressure-conveyed, and the conveying system has a 5-stage pumping station. Since 1997, through the research and test of tailings conveying characteristics and conveying parameters, the use of narrow-depth chute, large-diameter cast stone pipe, 250PN high-efficiency wear-resistant pump and other energy-saving technical transformations have effectively solved the tailings leakage pollution. . In the case that all the tailings of the arable land of the arable land have been greatly reduced, the tailings system is operating normally, the service life of the pump over-current components is extended to 3000 hours, and the annual maintenance cost and electricity cost are 5.2 million yuan.

Fourth, the automatic control technology continues to improve

(1) Automatic administration of flotation process

For decades, the Jinduicheng Molybdenum Group Concentrator has been using ordinary siphons to add medicine. In 1999, the PLC type intelligent program-controlled dosing machine was researched and applied in the arable land concentrating plant. After successful, it was promoted and applied in Baihualing Concentrator in 2000. The result makes the adjustment of the medicine and the process change synchronously, and the traditional experience is adjusted to the advanced quantitative control, and the error of the dosage is accurately controlled within ±3%, which improves the automation level and economic and technical indicators. (2) Automatic sampling of the flotation process

From 1998 to 2000, the sampling process and equipment of Baihualing and Yumu concentrator were studied successively. The JZC automatic sampling machine was introduced, and the interceptor and control system were designed by ourselves. The sampling automation of the flotation process was realized by different configuration methods. The technical level of mineral processing and the representativeness of mineral samples have been improved, which is conducive to objectively and truly reflecting the actual production.

(3) Automatic control of grinding grade

In 2001, the company cooperated with Dandong Orient Measurement & Control Co., Ltd. to achieve the success of grinding-grading automatic control technology on the 3 system 3 billiard mill of Baihualing Concentrator. In 2002 and 2004, it was fully promoted and applied on the remaining 7 billiard mills of Baihualing Concentrator and 4 billiard mills in the acreage plant, and improved the supporting facilities. After the implementation of the automatic control system, the equipment runs smoothly and reliably, the efficiency of the ball mill is increased by 2.6t, the grinding quality and recovery rate are also improved, and the company's ore dressing automation level and production management level are improved.

V. Analysis of the status quo

The two ore dressing plants of Jinduicheng Molybdenum Group adopt three-stage open circuit and three-stage closed-circuit process respectively. The grinding and floating production process adopts one-stage grinding, copper-molybdenum mixed flotation, coarse tail sulfur selection, sulfur tail iron selection and coarse fine After the re-grinding of the mine, copper and molybdenum are separated and floated, and the principle of selecting copper is fine. The separation of copper and molybdenum is cyanide-free flotation. TGA and P-Nokes are used to suppress lead , so that the molybdenum concentrate contains Cu<0.15% and Pb≤0.042%, which meets the requirements of producing molybdenum oxide containing Pb≤0.050%. In addition, deep flotation was used to increase the grade of molybdenum concentrate from 52.00% to 57.00%, which became another advantage of the company. The rough selection equipment adopts XCF/KYF-24 and XCF/KYF-16 inflatable flotation machine combined units, saving 40%. The flotation foam is thickened-filtered-dried into a final concentrate. In addition to the main product molybdenum concentrate, pyrite, chalcopyrite and magnetite are also recovered. For the past 40 years since the establishment of the factory, the representative technical indicators of each year are shown in Table 1. It can be seen that with the continuous innovation of mineral processing technology, the production index has increased significantly. At present, the mineral processing technology, technical equipment and product varieties, product quality and economic and technical indicators are at the leading level of domestic molybdenum mines.

Although Jinduicheng Molybdenum Group has made great achievements in the progress of mineral processing technology, there is still a significant gap compared with domestic new metal mines and foreign counterparts. For example, in the research of flotation new technology, especially the research on the application technology of new flotation column, it has fallen behind the domestic similar mines. In the molybdenum concentrate grade and recovery index, it is 1-2 percentage points lower than that of foreign countries. The concentrates contain potassium, calcium, magnesium and other impurities higher than foreign countries (Table 2), resulting in complicated subsequent processing technology and increased production costs. . In addition, the concentrator still has problems such as coarse grain size, poor process adaptability, unstable foaming agent performance, and backward filtration equipment .

Sixth, the direction of development

(1) Reduce the size of the crushed ore. Statistics show that the electricity consumption per ton of ore processed by Jinmo Group concentrator is crushed ore (1.6~1.7) kW·h/t, grinding (8.5-8.8) kW·h/t, flotation (5.5~) 5.8) kW·h/t. Among them, the grinding and power consumption is not only the first place in the operation of the ore dressing, but also 5.0 to 5.5 times the power consumption of the mined ore. Therefore, we should constantly reform the crushing process to achieve “more and less grinding”. For example, according to the open-pit mining situation, a mobile crushing station is set up in the stope to reduce the mining granularity. The concentrator should develop strong crushing and ultra-fine crushing. For example, the new crusher, such as ultra-fine crusher, high-pressure roller mill and inertial cone crusher, can be used instead of the traditional crusher to further reduce the crushing size and strive to reach -6mm.

(2) Improve the quality and recovery rate of molybdenum concentrate. With the adjustment of the mining grade of molybdenum deposits, the proportion of refractory ore with low grade, fine grain size and complex mineral composition is increasing, and the quality requirements of molybdenum concentrate are becoming more and more in the process of smelting and chemical industry. High, coupled with environmental protection, economic benefits and other aspects of pressure, Jinduicheng Molybdenum Group mineral processing technology is facing unprecedented challenges. Seeking a simple and effective method, such as new technology, new chemicals to improve the quality and recovery rate of molybdenum concentrate, is the primary problem to improve the company's mineral processing technology and even China's molybdenum beneficiation technology.

(3) Application of new foaming agents. At present, the company chooses the foaming agent for molybdenum as the fuselage, and the foaming performance is greatly affected by the pH value of the pulp, which leads to the stickiness of the selected operation foam, and the mechanical entrainment and metal loss are serious. In recent years, the development of foaming agents has been rapid, which has attracted extensive attention at home and abroad. In foreign countries, pine oil has gradually disappeared, and the use of synthetic alcohols and ether alcohol foaming agents has accounted for more than 90% of the total amount. The variety of domestic foaming agents is increasing, among which 730 series, BK series, RB series, mine friends series, ether alcohol series, etc. have been promoted and applied in non-ferrous mines, and achieved obvious economic and social benefits. In terms of development trends, synthetic foaming agents will gradually replace natural alcohol foaming agents. The research and application of new foaming agents is expected to fundamentally solve the problem of “stickiness” of molybdenum selection and create favorable conditions for impurity sorting.

(4) Application of flotation column. Due to the breakthrough progress in bubble generator and control, and the obvious effect on the recovery of fine-grained minerals, in recent years, concentrators and coal preparation plants around the world have rapidly promoted the application of flotation columns. Especially in the selective loop or fine particle flotation, the flotation column is replacing the original lower inflatable flotation machine. In addition, the flotation column can simplify multiple stages of conventional flotation processes into one or two stages. Therefore, the application research of flotation column in molybdenum selection operation is of great significance to further simplify the flotation process, improve the selection index and reduce the production cost.

(5) Potential control flotation. Electrochemical flotation is the flotation process at the forefront of current beneficiation technology. According to the electrochemical flotation behavior of sulfide minerals, the flotation or inhibition of sulfide minerals is controlled by adjusting the electrochemical conditions of the flotation system. The research and application of electrochemical flotation process will cause another major change in the flotation process. The regulation and control of the slurry potential of the sulfide ore flotation system can realize the flotation separation of the refractory ore, and the easy ore selection can achieve no collector or less collector flotation.

(6) Automatic control of the production process. Process automatic control plays an important role in mineral processing. According to foreign statistics, the use of automatic control technology in the concentrating plant can generally increase the equipment capacity by 10% to 15%, labor productivity by 25% to 50%, production cost by 3% to 5%, and significantly improve the recovery rate of the ore dressing. Indicators; on the other hand, the combination of process control technology and modern information management technology will bring about conceptual changes to the mineral processing management staff. Scientific management and decision-making combined with complete monitoring of production processes are the long-term goals of domestic and foreign mining companies. In the long run, further automatic detection and automatic control of the production process of the ore dressing plant is an inevitable trend in the development of the beneficiation process.

(7) New technology for product dehydration. Product dehydration is one of the important links in the field of mineral processing technology. The key to the dewatering process is to minimize the moisture in the filter cake during filtration. In North America and Europe, the copper sizing plant replaced the traditional disc or cylinder vacuum filter with a filter press, and the filter cake moisture was reduced from 20% to 6% to 7%, thus eliminating the gas rotary dryer. Therefore, the use of high-efficiency, automatic vertical filter press, the promotion of automatic filter-cylinder drying two-stage dehydration process, the elimination of concentrate thick-filtration-drying three-stage dehydration process is the development direction of product dehydration process.
